Chandrika Thomas’ creative talent and passionate approach to work has fuelled her rise as an exclusive mainstream bridal wear designer.

Since the age of seven, Chandrika always dreamt of designing dresses for a living. On family travels to India and Africa, tailors would be commissioned to make clothes for the family. This is where Chandrika found her passion. Surrounded by fine fabrics and spectacular colours Chandrika designed and sketched her dresses with intricate details.

At college Chandrika studied fashion and gained valuable work experience with a London based couturier. Chandrika worked on wedding dresses and fell in love with the romantic side of creating dream dresses for brides and aspired to set up her own boutique.

In 1986, at the age of 16, Chandrika was awarded with a business start up grant from The Prince’s Trust.

Chandrika has now been designing wedding dresses for individual clients for the past twelve years which she continues to adore. In her recent years Chandrika has found greater demand for the brand which prompted her to make the decision of making a ready to wear collection for brides.

Working closely with clients has enabled Chandrika to gain an insight into the desired shapes, silhouettes and trends of the wedding market. Meaning her collection is always up to date ensuring there are pieces in the collection to suit every shape.
